Iskandar of Perak

Sultan Sir Iskandar Shah al-Kaddasullah ibni al-Marhum Sultan Sir Idris Murshid al-Azam Shah Rahmatullah GCMG, KCVO (10 May 1881-14 October 1938) was the 30th Sultan of Perak. Perak at that time was part of the British-administered Federated Malay States.

Raja Alang Iskandar was born in 1881. He was made Raja Bendahara during the reign of his elder brother, Sultan Abdul Jalil. He ascended the Perak throne in November 1918 following the death of his brother. It was during Sultan Iskandar's reign that the Dinding and Pulau Pangkor territories were returned by the British in 1935. Prior to that, both territories were administered as part of the Straits Settlements

He died on 14 October 1938 and was given the post-humous title of Marhum Kadassallah. He was succeeded by his brother-in-law, Sultan Abdul Aziz Al-Mutasim Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Raja Muda Musa.
